The Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad survived committing 18 turnovers and a pesky Carlisle to beat the Wildcats 57-50 last night. The Panthers controlled the game in the first half draining five three point shots, however the Wildcats got back in the game by forcing early turnovers in the second half. Knoxville clinched the game by going six-for-seven from the free throw line in the fourth quarter. Coach Jeff Larson told KNIA/KRLS his team played pretty well, but knows his they can play better. Nolan Wallace led four Panthers in double figures with 16 points. Knoxville concluded regular season play at 13-8 which is the most wins for the Panthers since the 2002 season when they won 15 games. Knoxville is off until next Monday and that will start class 3A Districts against Norwalk.
