The Pleasantville Boys Basketball Squad got off to a slow start last night against Iowa Christian. In fact the Trojans were down nine/nothing with 4:32 left in the first quarter when Coach Tom Wilkins called a time out. From then on Pleasantville took over, dominated the rest of the game and won 71-59 over the Trailblazers. The Trojans were 9/25 from three-point range led by Trevor Zoss as he ignited the charge. Wilkins told KNIA/KRLS Sports his seniors stepped up at a crucial point and carried through the game. Zoss finished with 24 points to lead all scorers. Pleasantville is now 16-6 on the season and will come back home to host top seed Colo-NESCO who blasted Colfax-Mingo 74-44 last night. The district semi-final will be Tuesday.
