Twin Cedars’ basketball teams earned a win and took a loss against Southeast Warren on Saturday. The Saber girls didn’t play their best and fell to the Warhawks, 60 – 28. Liz Rowley scored 17 points to highlight Twin Cedars’ night. It was a better ending for the Saber boys, who toppled Southeast Warren, 69 – 48. Four starters finished in double figures; Otis Roby had 20, Trace Embray bucketed 19, Cam Arkema scored 18, and Trenton Bacus put up a ten-spot. Twin Cedars’ girls are now 5 – 14, while the boys get back to .500 with a 10 – 10 record. Both teams conclude their regular seasons on Tuesday at home against Melcher-Dallas.
