Police in Knoxville and Pella have issued their snow ordinance to go in effect later this evening.

Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada says their snow ordinance will go into effect at 8pm. At that time, parking will be prohibited on all city streets while the ordinance is in effect. Violators may be cited and towed.
Pella Police say their snow ordinance will go into effect beginning at midnight.
