PCM wrestling had not had a state finalist at the state tournament in 25 years before Tristan Clark at 126 pounds on Saturday night. Clark went up against number one rated Ryan Leisure of Clear Lake for the state title. Leisure was able to get up early on Clark with a couple of takedowns and use two hard rides on top to control the match and beat Clark, 6-1. Brock Caviness finished a solid tournament at 285 pounds for the Knoxville wrestling team placing seventh in the state in 2A.
