Another bomb threat was made against Knoxville Middle School on Thursday.
Knoxville Community School District Superintendent Cassi Murra talked with KNIA/KRLS about the incident. She says their main goal is to let the community know that they’re doing all they can to ensure the safety of students and staff. Murra thanked the dozens of officers from the Knoxville Police Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and Knoxville Fire and Rescue, who helped search the building along with school officials. She said about a third of the students at KMS were kept home by their parents today. This is the second bomb threat made against KMS in as many weeks.
