It was a magical season for PCM’s 126-pound wrestler, Tristan Clark. The Predicament had him ranked fifth in his weight class and had several ranked opponents that tried to stand in his way at the Wells Fargo Arena, he did not go out for football in his senior year and dedicated his time in the weight room to fine tune his craft. Coach Cory Waddell started to notice Clark had a chance to make a push following his first two losses of the season at the Solon tournament in early 2015. He suffered a pair of close setbacks to ranked 3A and 2A opponents. Waddell says he really noticed the desire and dedication after two easier wins at a home tournament the week following those losses. Clark is one of a handful of seniors that exit the Mustangs’ program, but PCM has a lot of talent coming back for 2015-16.
