Central College is hosting a program Tuesday aimed at finding solutions to fix the growing national debt in the United States.
Former Iowa Congressmen Leonard Boswell and Thomas Tauke are leading an interactive budget workshop, where the community can learn about federal spending and real-life fiscal policy choices. Participants will work in small groups to discuss several policy alternatives and ultimately make recommendations to address America’s deficit. It takes place from 9 to 11 am at Central College’s Maytag Student Center and is free and open to the public. We have more about Tuesday’s workshop on Let’s Talk Pella Monday.
