The Central men’s golf team has cracked the top five in the most recent Golfstat Division III statistical rankings for 2015. The Dutch were sixth for the last few weeks before being bumped up in the poll that was released yesterday. The rankings are compiled figuring in tournament scores, course ratings, and strength of schedule ratings. Texas-Tyler is still at the top of the ladder. As a team, the Dutch have won 31 Iowa Conference championships and have made 32 appearances in the national tournament. Central’s men begin their spring season on March 19 down at Daytona Beach, Florida.
