The eighth-week of the 2015 Iowa Legislative Season officially marks the halfway point.
Representative Guy Vander Linden says now that the gas tax issue has been passed, he anticipates that work will continue on issues involving education, including state supplemental aid and school start dates. He says he’s also working on getting a bill of his own to the floor and through the committee level, and says debate will continue on increasing speed limits once it passes through the senate.
