Rozenboom-KenScale

There are plenty of issues left on the table for the Iowa Legislature to work on with the floor for debate rules opening up this week.
State Senator Ken Rozenboom says more than 90 bills were passed in the Senate over the past two weeks, and expects that rate of work to continue until the next funnel deadline. For the next two weeks, debate is not limited by rule. He says with the nature of a split legislature, many laws that are passed in one house will die on arrival in the other. The next major funnel this legislative session is April 3rd, which is the final date for bills from one chamber to be reported from the committee level in the other.
