A former Iowa Hawkeye and NFL football player turned solar energy entrepreneur will speak at Central College this month.
Tim Dwight will share his experience building a business in renewable energy and lobbying for reforms in Iowa energy policy on Wednesday, March 11th. His 7 p.m. lecture in the Cox-Snow Recital Hall is free and open to the public. Dwight, a native Iowan, started the California-based Integrated Power Corporation. The company provides solar power systems to commercial, industrial and utility customers. Central’s Director for Sustainability Education Brian Campbell says Dwight’s energy projects and his athletic prowess give him a unique story to share with students and audiences throughout Iowa.
