Twenty-seven schools were in attendance at the Central College girls’ high school indoor track and field meet, and Pella High stood out amongst some bigger squads on Saturday. The Lady Dutch scored 22 points, good for eighth place. Mount Pleasant won the meet with 70.5. Amongst the highlight performances for Pella were Annika Pingel placing fifth in the 55 meter dash at 7.65 seconds, and fourth in the 200 meters; Tess Roorda was sixth in the 800 meter run; Emma Thoreson and Lydia VanEe were fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 55 meter hurdles finals.
