The Pella High girls’ basketball team’s fantastic season resulted in six individual all-conference honors given to them this year. Three Lady Dutch received first-team all-Little Hawkeye Conference accolades. Unanimously chosen to that first team was Katie Vander Molen. In just her sophomore season, Vander Molen put up a team-high 12.4 points and five rebounds per game. She also led the team in assists and steals. The tenth-grader also was fourth in the league in scoring average. Jessica Holterhaus was also a unanimous choice for the first team. The senior was eighth in the conference and second on the Dutch in scoring with nearly 11 points per game, and grabbed an average of over seven rebounds per contest. Mackenzie Gustafson earned first-team honors as well. She was third on the team with a 10.7 scoring average and was top ten in the league in points per game and assists. Sophomore Kiara Bradley was chosen to the second team. Bradley scored seven points-a-game and had 81 rebounds in 17 contests. Ciara Buchheit and Katie Finney were each picked as honorable mentions. Pella’s girls finished the season with a 19 – 3 mark.
