Marion Alert!
Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson has announced that the Marion Alert Emergency Notification System is ready for use.

The system is part of the Alert Iowa statewide system, which can be used by state and local authorities to quickly disseminate emergency information to residents in counties that utilize the system.
Anderson says this free service is a great addition to any family or business preparedness toolbox and will allow public safety officials to communicate local emergency information.
Anderson also says after a weather alert is received, tune in to KNIA/KRLS for more details and updates.
