Battling through injuries and inexperience, the Pella Christian girls’ basketball team improved greatly and had much more positive than negative takeaways from their 2014-15 campaign. One storyline was how far along senior Autumn Vos came from last year. She averaged less than four points per game in the 2013-14 season, but swelled to over seven per contest this season, and her defense improved as well. Coach Kevin Van Maanen says Vos made big strides between her junior and senior years. The Eagles’ girls finished the season with a record of 13 – 11 and they lose five seniors from the varsity squad.
