Four Pleasantville boys’ basketball players were selected to the Pride of Iowa All-Conference team. Josh Luna was selected to the first team for the Trojans. The senior averaged over ten points per game and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds per contest this season, which was eighth best in the league. He also led the team in steals with 45 and had a dozen blocks. Three Trojans were picked to the second team. Trever Zoss was one of them, leading the squad with 14.5 points and about four rebounds per game. Zoss was sixth in the conference in scoring. His teammate, Brady Elder, was tenth in that category, with almost 13 per contest as a sophomore. Elder was second on the team in steals and led the Trojans in free throw shooting percentage. He was named to the second team, as was Zeb Adreon. Before being hampered by a late-season injury, Adreon finished with over 11 points per game and was second on the team in rebounds with about five per contest. The Trojans finished the year 17 – 7 and made it all the way to the district final.
