One of the few to qualify from Melcher-Dallas for the state track meet in 2014, senior Chase Wetterling is training to get back onto the podium for the Saints this season. Wetterling finished seventh in the 400 meter finals at state last year, and was fourth in his heat in the 100 meter dash. Coach Mike Horstman says Wetterling has been focused in practice so far, working on various things to improve not just his abilities, but also the overall team standings. The Saints begin their outdoor track season on Thursday, April 9 at Clarke.
