Operation Christmas is continuing in Indianola for 2019. Operation Christmas is organized by the Indianola Ministerial Association, and provides families with the means to give children Christmas presents and a Christmas meal who would otherwise not have one. Heather Williams with Operation Christmas tells KNIA News families who would like to apply for assistance can do so at the Assembly of God Church, The Helping Hand, Impact Community Partnership, or Warren County General Assistance, and requests need to be turned in by November 20th. Operation Christmas is also asking for donations, and those interested can find out more information at those locations.
