We are a full service, locally owned AM/FM in South Central Iowa, and we are searching for a Program Director, to partner with the General Manager and Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will lead by example, be a problem solver, be very technologically savvy (Strong Computer Experience a MUST!), embrace new media and technology, have a minimum of 3 years full time on air and production experience and must have strong ties to Iowa. This position has a short board shift, but is equally concerned with managing the programming department with a staff of 6 announcers and news/sports people. Scheduling, Hiring and training announcers to fit in our company system, and be personally involved in the communities we serve. Previous management experience is not required, but would be helpful. You would need to learn our systems and style of management. You don’t need to have all the answers, you do need the right attitude to want to find the answers and then implement what you have learned. Radio Sales / Client Services
