The 4-H Little hands on the Farm and the County Council will be holding events during the Marion County Fair on Sunday, July 17. Little Hands on the Farm’s event will be from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm between the concession stand and the racetrack, and the County Council’s Barnyard Olympics will be held at 5:00 pm. 4-H member Kinnick Wright spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the 4-H event.

“You can do sheep shearing, washing animals, and other events.”

Kinnick tells us why we should come to the event.

“I think that it is fun when you work with animals and it gives you more experience if you want to show animals at the Fair.”

Morgan Mckay spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the Barnyard Olympics.

“Following Little Hands on the Farm, the County Council will hold their annual BarnYard Olympics. You can compete in teams or individually. You can play games like Holy Buckets or Frozen T-Shirts. The event is free and open to everyone.”
