A fixture in the home furniture business in Pella will see new ownership take over. Bryan Gaylor is the new owner of Boat’s Home Furnishings. The Iowa State grad will take over for the three current partner owners Harlan Van Vark, Doug Van Gorkom, and Marv Roozeboom. The three wanted to ensure they had a buyer that had community roots, as they thought that was the best chance of future success for the store. Gaylor says owning his own business is a dream come true, and looks forward to continuing Boat’s long-term success.
