The Iowa Caucuses are nearly here. Republican candidates, running for the presidential nomination, have been touring the state to try and put themselves in a good position coming out of Iowa. Many candidates have come through the Marion County area. Even though the Republicans are getting all the attention, both parties are holding caucuses, and the Marion County Party Chairs on both sides are encouraging people to attend them and make sure that their voices are heard. For those north of the river in Marion county, the Republican caucus will be held at Pella Christan High School and for those south of the river, the Republican Caucus will be at Knoxville High School. There are two locations in the county that will be holding Democrat caucuses as well. People that live in townships and precincts south of the river will convene at Knoxville Middle School. Those living in townships and precincts north of the river will convene at Lincoln Elementary School in Pella. The doors at caucus locations will open at 6:00 PM with the Caucus process to start at 7:00PM
