The Central College Men’s golf team was in fourth-place after the first round of the Mount Mercy Cropper Classic yesterday. In their first action of the season, the Dutch were led by junior Jason Harvey, who shot a 69 and is in second place individually going into today’s final round. On the women’s side, two top-three performances have the Dutch in a tie for first place with the host team through the first round of the Wartburg Fall Invitational. Senior Eva Downes fired a career-best 73 and is tied for first individually, while sophomore Sarah Paulson is in third place after carding a 77. That tournament also resumes today.
