Central College settled for an 11th-place finish at the 18-team Twin Cities Classic men’s golf tourney Monday. 12th ranked Illinois Wesleyan claimed the 54-hole tourney crown at 882 while. Central closed at 929. Justin Livingston led the Dutch tying for 23rd at 227. The Dutch were still the top finishers among Iowa Conference schools. Luther was 15th at 941, Wartburg was 16th at 943 and Buena Vista was 17th at 959. The meet concludes the fall season for the Dutch, although Central’s junior varsity, the White squad, has one round remaining in the 36-hole Statesmen Fall Classic at the par-71 Blue Top Ridge Golf Course at Riverside. Central is tied for fourth in the 14-team meet at 319.
