A Clarinda man was killed in a collision in the 1700 block of Highway T-15 at approximately 6:00 pm last night. The Iowa State Patrol reports 47-year-old Jason Cameron Willey was a passenger in a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro driven by 24-year-old Jalen Zachary Frost of Corydon. The vehicle was travelling southbound through a curve when it went off the highway, struck the ditch bank of County Highway S-71, and rolled several times. Willey was ejected, and reported dead at the scene. He wasn’t wearing a seat belt. Frost was injured, and transported by helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Assisting at the scene were the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Knoxville Township Rural Fire Department, Knoxville Fire and Rescue, Mercy Air, and possibly other agencies.
