Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has issued a disaster declaration for Warren and Marion Counties, which allows state resources to be utilized to respond to and recover from the effects of the severe weather that impacted the area Tuesday. Part of the disaster declaration includes the activation of the Individual Assistance Program, which provides grants of up to $5,000 for households with incomes up to 200% of the federal poverty level, which is $116,280. Warren County Emergency Management Coordinator Troy Bass tells KNIA News if you need assistance cleaning up debris or more information, to contact Warren County dispatch.
