While the official Drake Relays high school qualifying list will not be released until Saturday…Knoxville likely will have at least two events that will solidly qualify. The team of Blake Wyatt, Tim Shepherd, Jamie VanderVeer, and Alex Edwards have a season best time of just over eight minutes last week at the Chariton Meet. Coach Mike Cunningham the Second says his four-by-800 team made the Drake Relays with some help from their rivals across the river. Cunningham adds all of his runner had personal best splits and says running with a team like Pella actually pushed the Knoxville runners a little more. The Panthers are at the Rocket Relays in Eddyville tonight.
