Pella Christian Cross Country Runners Improving as Busy Schedule Continues

Pella Christian’s cross country runners put up a strong showing this past Thursday evening at the Johnston Dragon Invitational, completing a loaded early week of competition that saw the Eagles’ compete in three meets in six days.  Both squads finished in seventh place in the team standings.  In the girls race, Pella Christian was able to score 169 points, just five points behind sixth-place Saydel.

On this week’s Marion County PM Sports Page program, senior captains Adam Howerzyl, Michael Mason, Caleb Morgan and Josh Van Gorp talked with KNIA/KRLS Sports Director Eric Gotschall about the successes so far this season and what they’ll need to do to keep the victory train barreling down the tracks.
