Authorities arrested a Bussey man Thursday night after he allegedly choked his girlfriend during an argument.

20-year-old Allen Wayne Hanley has been charged with domestic abuse assault impeding air flow while causing bodily injury.
According to court documents, Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a residence on Merrill Street in Bussey at 8:25pm for a man out of control. The victim told police Hanley grabbed her by the throat and began choking her.
Hanley is being held in Marion County Jail.
