Pella-native Haley Brillhart scored 13 points and pulled down a season-high 15 rebounds, but the sophomore’s third double-double of the season wasn’t enough to help the Central women’s basketball team break snap a long losing skid, as the Dutch fell 71-61 at Luther College on Saturday.

Central Women Fall Just Short to 23rd Ranked Simpson Led by Haley Brillhart

Despite being undersized, shorthanded and committing 31 turnovers, the Central College women’s basketball team threw a scare into 23rd ranked Simpson in their Iowa Conference opener before suffering an 88-81 defeat last night.

Brillhart Dominant at Net as Central Sweeps Luther
