As residents celebrate the end of 2021 this evening, Knoxville Police Chief Aaron Fuller reminds everyone to make good decisions while ringing in the new year.

“This is nothing new, don’t drink and drive. Have a designated driver, call a cab, we’ve got two cab companies here in town. There’s no reason for anyone to be driving. If you’re at a friend’s house and you have a little too much to drink, just stay there.”

Fuller says that the best case scenario if you’re caught is you lose your license, and worst case, someone gets killed.
