Knoxville Fire and Rescue, the Knoxville Rural Fire Department and the Knoxville Police Department responded to a report of a house fire at approximately 2:30pm Friday. The fire occurred at 701 South Roche Street in Knoxville, the same home where a fire occurred Thursday August 12th. Knoxville Fire Chief Mike Roberts says that no one was in the building when the fire started, and that the location of the fire was in a different part of the house than in the August 12 blaze. No one was injured at the scene and the cause of the fire is not known at this time. The state fire marshal is assisting the Knoxville Fire Department with the investigation. Marion County Court records report that the deed to the home is held by Daniel E. Sutherland. KNIA/KRLS will bring you more information as it becomes official.
