The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in special session Monday night to address the resignation of Indiana Township Trustees Bob Mallory and Jim Force.

The two resigned in part because of tension between them and the Indiana Township Fire Department. The Supervisors were reluctant to appoint new trustees given that there is an upcoming election in November, and re-appointed Mallory and Force to the positions. Both agreed to serve, and the supervisors encouraged them to establish better and more frequent communications with the fire department.
