Knoxville Native Jessica Fresh will try to become just a second Olympian from Marion County as she participates in the United States Olympic Women’s Wrestling Trials in Iowa City today. Fresh, who is currently on the women’s squad at Waldorf College will take on Nicole Woody of the Gator Wrestling Club in a first round match. A win by Fresh would set her up against Jessica Medina of Sunkist Kids, an opponent Fresh wrestled during the qualifying matches in March. Fresh would have to win her weight class to qualify for the London Olympics this summer.
