Taking over two hours to complete a combined 35 laps due to a combination of red and yellow flags, Jon Agan and Dusty Zomer sped through the shrapnel to take wins at the Knoxville Raceway Saturday night. The 360 race took nearly an hour just to get in a lap when a multi-car crash happened in turn one. No sooner when track officials got the mess in turn one cleaned up, when another pile up littered turn four. This was especially scary as Bryan Dobech slammed the outside wall in turn three and then flipped into oncoming track. Both Joe Beaver and Matt Moro slammed into Dobesh who was taken to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics complaining to dizziness. According to one of his crew he had a cat scan last night. R-J Johnson also brought out a red flag a little later when something broke and sent him careening into the turn four fence. Johnson walked away unharmed. Agan finally took the win in the 360s. The 410 A-Main was not immune to the carnage as Seth Bramer’s wing collapsed on the first lap and collected three other cars including points leader Brian Brown. After the dust and sprint car parts stopped flying Dusty Zomer took his first win of the season at the Knoxville Raceway. Unofficially that leaves Brian Brown now just 81 points ahead of Don Droud Jr. heading into the final week of sprint car racing. In the 360s, Clint Garner has an unofficial 35.5 point lead on Dustin Selvage. The points do not become official until of the close of business at the Knoxville Raceway today.
