A Knoxville Pizza Hut employee faces forgery charges after allegedly reporting tips that were unauthorized by customers. On March 13th, a Knoxville Police officer spoke with the Pizza Hut manager, and through an investigation, determined that 20-year-old Dennis Lovvorn of Knoxville repeatedly reported unauthorized tip amounts on the merchant receipt copies. These tips were then charged to customers’ credit cards. At least four incidents were reported between late February and early March.

A warrant for Lovvorn’s arrest was served Friday, and a $5,000 bond was posted. A preliminary hearing will be held at a later date.
