Lake Red Rock continues to rise as area streams and rivers empty the inches of rain that fell to begin the month of October.

Current water is up to 769 feet above sea level, or 27 feet above normal pool. Long term, the lake will crest in approximately two weeks over 770 feet above sea level. If the forecast holds, it will be the 10th highest crest on record, which is currently 769.96 feet in July 2015.

This is the highest the lake has ever been in the month of October, breaking the previous mark of 757.2 feet set on October 28th, 1986.
