Customers of the Red Rock Lake Marina have been sent a letter from the law offices representing the Polk County Bank, which is currently owed more than a million dollars by the Marina, which is in receivership.

U.S. Supreme Court Allows Pella Corp. Suit To Move Forward

A class action law suit against Pella Corporation and its line of Pro-Line Casement Windows, manufactured from 1991-2009, will go forward following a procedural ruling today by the United States Supreme Court.

Jury Reaches Verdict in Trial Involving Pella Aquatic Center

Central Electric Company of Pella will pay the City of Pella nearly $800,000 in damages for breach of contract regarding the installation of underwater lights at the Pella Aquatic Center where two boys from Kansas City recently drowned.

**UPDATE**Drowning Victims Could Not Swim; Told Staff Otherwise

The teenage boys who died Wednesday night in an accidental drowning at the Pella Aquatic Center could not swim, though they themselves told staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) otherwise.
