Marion County Attorney Ed Bull has been appointed to the Iowa Maternal and Child Health Advisory Council (MCH) as the legal services representative.

Iowa Department of Public Health Director Gerd Glabaugh made the appointment. Bull’s main function will be to assist the Iowa Department of Public Health in the design and implementation of MCH services and the Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children. He will also advise the Department on their continued program integration with Child Health Specialty Clinics for children and youth with special health care needs.

Bull commented: “I am honored to be named by Director Clabaugh to Iowa Maternal and Child Health Advisory Council. I look forward to aiding MCH in achieving their goals. There is no question there will be a steep learning curve as I get up to speed, but I hope to be able to assist any way I can.”
