Pella-bound Motorist Stranded on Flooded Roadway

Pella FD, Pella Ambulance, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and Jasper County Sheriff’s Office can be seen in the distance assisting a woman who entered flood waters of the South Skunk River north of Pella.

A failed attempt to cross a roadway flooded by the South Skunk River left a driver stranded near the Marion and Jasper County line Thursday afternoon.
