Pella Boys Fall Short in Substate Final

Another spirited fourth quarter comeback gave the Pella boys basketball team a shot at returning to the State Tournament, but a few bad bounces in the final seconds saw the game slip away from the Little Dutch as Mount Pleasant held on for a 43-42 win in Monday night’s Class 3-A Substate round in Ottumwa.

Pella Boys Avenge Regular Season Loss; Wollop Oskaloosa in Tournament Opener

First Half Run Leads Pella Boys to Win over Pella Christian

Pella took game one of the Tulip City rivalry Friday night at Pella Christian with a 60-44 victory. The Little Dutch came out flat, and were once down 8-0 but came roaring back ending the first half on a 30-12 run and remaining in front for the rest of the game.
