Pitching Helps PCM Slip Past Pella Christian 6-5 in District Semis

Marion County PM Sports Page – Dalton Kingery

Earlier this month, 2012 PCM graduate Dalton Kingery successfully defended his state title in Saddle Bronc Riding with a strong finish to his season at the 2012 Iowa High School Rodeo Association State Finals. With a berth at the National Finals Rodeo in Saddle Bronc Riding – along with qualifying in Bareback Riding – under his belt, Kingery continues to train and compete; not only for the national competition, but for his future. The aspiring professional rider and former wrestling standout at PCM talked with KNIA/KRLS Sports Director Eric Gotschall on this week’s Marion County PM Sports Page program about his past, why he plans to make a career out of the sport he loves, and what it means to him to be a cowboy.

Kingery Repeats as State Champ; Locals Perform Well at State Rodeo Finals
