For many, Thursday’s District Track Meets will be the final outing of the season, but for a select few runners, jumpers and throwers it’s an opportunity to showcase their talents in hopes of earning a bid to the 2012 Coed State Track Meet. Pella Christian is hopeful to advance members of their boys team to the famed Blue Oval, and KNIA/KRLS Sports Director Eric Gotschall caught up with three of them. Join Caleb Frederickson, Nate Tvedt and Derek Van Kooten as they share thoughts on what has been fun about the season so far, working with a new head coach, and what it will take to keep their season’s alive beyond Thursday evening.
