The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session today. New council member Dawn Rankin will be administered the oath of office. They’ll consider the transfer of funds between the Department of Human Services and the Fire Department. They’ll discuss a 28E agreement with the Knoxville School District pertaining to the school resource officer program. Also on the agenda is the third reading of building codes related to minimum maintenance and vacant buildings.
