Mustangs’ Boys Basketball Moves to Four-and-Oh

It wasn’t pretty at times, but the PCM Mustangs’ boys basketball team moved to 4 – 0 on the year with a 50 – 40 win over South Hamilton Tuesday night. PCM head coach, Fred Lorensen, told KNIA/KRLS Sports, that his team committed several turnovers over the course of the game and that they will have to clean up their play before facing a very tough Pella Christian team on Thursday. Leading the way in scoring for the Mustangs was Ethan Kain, amassing 21 points, while Dillon Bruxvoort added nine, and Mike Neff and Hunter Van Veen each contributed six. The undefeated Mustangs’ boys will be facing another undefeated team on Thursday, when they travel to Pella Christian to face the Eagles in a game that will be streamed live at kniakrls.com.

South Hamilton Next on the Docket for Mustangs’ Basketball

Mustangs’ Girls Lose Heartbreaker, Boys’ Strong Second Half Good for Win

Fifty-three was the magic number for a victory last night in Gilbert, as the PCM Mustangs’ girls basketball team fell 53 – 31 to Gilbert, while the boys came away with a 53 – 50 victory in the nightcap.
