Voters in the Prairie City-Monroe School District passed a $10 million bond referendum for school improvements Tuesday.

PCM Superintendent Brad Jermeland tells KNIA/KRLS News the measure received 69% voting yes, topping the 60% threshold required for it to pass. That additional money will match $10 million on hand and in sales tax for improvements district wide.

The results will officially be canvassed on February 9th by the Jasper County Board of Supervisors.
