The majority of students in the Pella Community School District are back in class today for the 2025-26 academic year. Elementary students (Pre-K through 3rd) are starting the year with parent teacher conferences before classes begin on Wednesday. Preschool students won’t begin at the Little Dutch Academy until after Labor Day. Pella Police Captain Paul Haase reminds drivers to use extra caution during pick-up and drop-off times (7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and again from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.), especially on the eastern half of the community.
