A team of teachers and administrators from the Pella Community School District recently attended workshops in Rogers, Arkansas, and Grundy Center, Iowa as an introduction to the PE4life program.
Further information on the 2010-2011 school budget, along with the setting of a hearing date on the district’s budget are among the items on the agenda for Monday’s Pella School Board meeting.
Thanks to the support and efforts of the Pella Amateur Radio Club, students in the Pella area will begin working toward a very unique opportunity in the future.
Though weather delays prevented the Pella School Board from discussing a criteria scale for budget adjustments at Monday’s meeting, the board did receive some information on the success of the school district’s input process.
The Pella School Board approved a policy at this week’s school board meeting that establishes clearer guidelines on extracurricular practices on days when weather alters the schedule.

Several missed days of school due to winter weather during the current school year have prompted the Pella School Board to think about how to prepare for multiple snow days next school year as well.
