Bryce Bortscheller got the scoring started for Pella with a 77-yard touchdown reception, followed by a pick six from Quinton Murphy that set the tone early for the Little Dutch. Coach McKinstrey said after the game that their team’s speed can be found beyond the offensive side of the ball. Pella’s win gives them a 1 – 0 record to begin the year, and they’ll make the long trip to Washington for week number two this Friday.
